Any lay member of the Church undertaking a ministry in God’s name is a Lay Minister. In the
Anglican Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago, the formal Lay Ministry is divided into 4 categories:
1. Reader
2. Catechist
3. Eucharistic Assistant
4. Chalice Bearer
