Prayer Group
The All Saints Prayer Group was started in 1972 by the late Mrs.
Yvonne Mc Shine with the approval of our then curate, rev. Fr. Clive
Griffith. Guided by the members of the of a Roman Catholic
Charismatic Prayer group led by Mrs. Nora Devaux, weekly prayer
meetings began.

Over the years the attendance fluctuated: nevertheless, we never
wavered from Jesus' promise: ''For where two or three are gathered in
my name, I am there among them.'' (Matt. 8:20)

In October, 1973 the first Life in the Spirit Seminar to be held at All
Saints was conducted by a team of Roman Catholic lay persons.
Subsequently, the Anglican Church began conducting its own
Seminars in parish churches throughout Trinidad and Tobago, with
participants being encouraged to join or form a Prayer Group or Bible
Study Group in their own Church.

Out of all this activity, The Renewal Movement in this Diocese came
into existence. The Prayer group has always enjoyed the blessings
and encouragement of the clergy and we pray that God may continue to
guide and use us in His service.
