Anglican Church Men's Society (ACMS)
The Anglican Church Men’s Society (ACMS) is an offshoot of the Church of England
Men’s Society (CEMS).  The Church of England’s Men’s Society was established in
Trinidad & Tobago in the 1950’s.  It was the brainchild of the men at All Saint’s Parish
with support from St Margaret’s and St Columbia Parishes. In the early 1960’s it was
decided that the society should be governed locally with the guidance from CEMS
headquarters.  In October 1963 the Diocesan Union was formally approved and the
name officially changed from CEMS to ACMS.  The role and purpose of the society is
“witness, fellowship and service”.

Motto: Together Everyone Achieves More, if there is Total Effort from All Members.
Objectives of the Society:
1.        To band churchmen together in a common effort, to promote the glory of God
and help forward the work of the church.

2.        To deepen the spiritual life of its members.

3.        To encourage the reading and systematic study of the Holy Bible.

4.        To uphold the Christian standard of marriage and family life and to
     emphasise the responsibility of fatherhood.

5.        To promote fellowship, not only within society itself and among church people,
but also as far as possible with all Christian people and men of goodwill.

6.        To emphasise that the principles of Christianity must be applied to all human
      relationship.
